| About Soccer |
| The
purpose of this Soccer Association is to teach, govern and promote the game of soccer for
junior players in recreational and select league play, under the auspices of the Town and
Country Optimist Club. It is the intent of
this organization to teach good sportsmanship, educate all participants and adult sponsors
in the fundamentals of the game, promote the game through sponsorship of the regularly
scheduled competition, and conduct other educational activities as appropriate |

Summary |
| Except
as otherwise noted by the Town and Country Soccer Association, the Federation
Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) "Laws of the Game" will provide
the basic rules and regulations for the soccer games sponsored by the Soccer Association.
The Soccer Association shall be affiliated with the Capital Area Youth Soccer Association
(CAYSA), a member of the South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA), a state association
of United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), a division of U S Soccer. |

Clinic w/ Academy Coordinator! Monday 2/20 - NEW
Courtney Miles and Brian Dockery are planning on having a Free Clinic
for T&C teams on Monday the 20th at the 5&6 fields from 5-6pm. Come take part in
this great opportunity open to all!

Lone Star
Showcase 2/25 -- NEW
Come check out the Lone Star Showcase at Town and Country, featuring
games between many of the top teams in the state as well as college teams from Texas and
Oklahoma. Also featured is MLS soccer at Round Rock stadium, between Houston 1836 and Real

training
KSN training for coaches will be held at the T&C trailer on the
following two dates:
Thurs Feb 16th 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Tues Feb 28th 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Field
lottery
Field Lottery for the city of Austin's NW Balcones ( Talleyran Rd )
and Mt. View Parks will be held Sunday evening February 26th at 5:30pm at the NW Balcones
Park main shelter. The lottery will begin sharply at 5:30pm Please arrive early to fill
out necessary paperwork.
* You must be a coach or representing a coach to be included in the lottery.
* Only one registration per team
* Baseball and Softball teams will have first choice for ball fields, until all are taken.
( a soccer team may not choose a baseball field as a practice option )

Formation
Team formation will be completed Friday 17-Feb by the age group
commissioners. Rosters can be sent to coaches at this time.

Div IV (U5-U10) will be Tuesday 21-Feb 7pm - 9pm
Div III (U11-U18) will be Wednesday 22-Feb 7pm - 9pm

Late
Registration
Late registration ends Sunday 26-Feb. Players registered through the
late process will be added to rosters on a first come, first served basis.
